Dr. Jeffery Kinlaw presented a paper at the biennial meeting of the North American Fichte Society, a society in which he has been a prominent participant for 20 years. The conference was held May 28-31 in Salt Lake City under the sponsorship of the University of Utah. Presenters came from North American, Europe and Turkey.
The conference focused on Fichte’s "Addresses to the German Nation," a series of lectures held in the aftermath of the occupation of Berlin by Napoleon’s troops. His paper was entitled: “Autonomy, Moral Development, and the Carving of a National Identity.”
