McMurry to offer Group Exercise Classes this fall

ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University offers open-to-the-public group exercise classes beginning August 25. 

      Hour-long morning, mid-day and evening group exercise classes run from August 25 through Dec. 5 for a fee of $80.  

      Classes include Fifty Fitness at 8 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, Yoga at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays and at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Cross Training at noon on Wednesdays and Fridays.  

      Monday and Wednesday evening classes feature Low Impact Aerobics at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday classes include Zumba sessions at 5:30 p.m. and Yoga classes on 6:30 p.m.

      Participants may mix-and-match attendance at the mid-day and evening offerings.  Drop-ins pay $5 per visit.  For more information or to register, call Cynthia Rutledge at 325-793-4636 or email crutledge@mcm.edu.
