McMurry Student Ashlea Beckner Elected as District Representative for a National Organization

Ashlea Beckner `17, current awareness officer of the McMurry Student Foundation, was recently selected to be a district representative for a national organization. The Council for Advancement and Support of Education, Affiliated Student Advancement Programs (CASE ASAP) strives to foster and enhance student involvement in all areas of advancement—from alumni relations and communications to fundraising, marketing and related areas.

In her new role Ashlea will serve as a full voting member of the CASE Executive Board and represent the concerns of District IV at meetings for a two year term. She will be responsible for regular communication with our District (comprised of 5 states; Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma) and work to increase membership with CASE ASAP.

“Being part of the McMurry Student Foundation has opened my eyes to see how I can really make a difference at McMurry. I am excited to continue giving back by serving my district. I really believe we can do great things in District IV!” Ashlea said.
