McMurry University is pleased to announce that the McMurry Fund has not only surpassed the $910,000 goal for fiscal year 2015, but has exceeded one million dollars in contributions.

This has only been accomplished three times in the last 30 years and would not have been possible without gifts from generous individuals who believe in McMurry’s mission. Gifts to the McMurry Fund are unrestricted annual operating dollars that support the greatest need on campus. These excess funds will be used for student scholarships as well as general operational expenses associated with running a university.

“It has been ten years since the McMurry Fund has reached this significant number. There are so many people to thank for making this possible; our Board of Trustees, Alumni Association Board and Directors, the Dodge Jones Foundation and other foundations, faculty, staff,  as well as alumni and friends. It really was a community effort and I appreciate each and every one of the individuals who continue to make McMurry University a great place to earn a degree,” said Jackie Jackson, Director of the McMurry Fund.
