Active duty and retired military and their dependents will be honored guests at McMurry University’s football game against Belhaven University at noon on Saturday, October 31, at Wilford Moore Stadium. All military members and their dependents will be admitted free with military ID as part of McMurry’s Military Appreciation Day.

Parking lots are located along the west and southern perimeters of the campus. Home side seating is available on the west side of Wilford Moore Stadium.

The event is a part of a weeklong series of activities celebrating the 55th anniversary of McMurry’s association with Dyess Air Force Base, including a special chapel service on Tuesday, October 27, featuring a sermon from Dyess chaplain Major Marianne Nassef.

“We greatly value the relationship we’ve built with the men and women of Dyess Air Force Base. McMurry University has been proud to partner with Dyess Air Force Base for more than 50 years in designing and delivering education programs responsive to the needs of its airmen and their dependents as they serve our nation and the cause of freedom,” said McMurry President Dr. Sandra Harper. “This event is another way for us to say ‘Thanks’ to these airmen and their families.”
