McMurry War Hawk Marching Band to Be on RFD-TV for London New Year’s Day Parade

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 17, 2015 – The McMurry University War Hawk Band will be one of the featured bands from the United States on RFD-TV’s live broadcast of the 2016 London New Year’s Day Parade. RFD-TV is on Direct TV Channel 345 and Dish Network Channel 231.

RFD-TV kicks off the New Year with a line-up of two live parades starting with London’s New Year’s Day Parade at 6 a.m. CT, followed by the annual Tournament of Roses Parade and pre-show starting at 9:30 a.m. CT from Pasadena, California.

London’s New Year’s Day Parade is celebrating “30 Magical Years” entertaining London. More than 8,000 performers from numerous nations will make their way along the 2.2-mile route.

The 127th Rose Parade, presented by Honda, returns with new hosts, Bob and Kelli Phillips of RFD-TV’s Texas Country Reporter, who are joining veteran host Pam Minick of RFD-TV’s Gentle Giants. The LIVE broadcast will take you behind-the-scenes of the exquisite floats, spirited marching bands and high-stepping equestrian units making their way down the 5 1/2-mile parade route.
