Registration has opened for McMurry University’s FasTrack program. FasTrack presents an opportunity for anyone who has a bachelor’s degree and is seeking Texas teacher certification.  Coursework begins May 9 and can be completed either during the summer or the fall and spring semesters.

The program has a number of prerequisites including a 2.75 GPA, passing a content test, and meningitis shot within the past five years if the applicant is under the age of 30.  Applicants will need to present a transcript for evaluation. Once coursework is completed, students will be eligible for a teaching internship or for student teaching.

For more information or to schedule a meeting, contact FasTrack director Dr. Gae Lynn McInroe at mcinroe.gae@mcm.edu or 325-793-4960 or Certification officer Mike Thomesen at thomesem@mcm.edu or 325-793-4863.
