McMurry's New Freshman Class to Work at Local Non-Profit Agencies

McMurry University’s new freshman class will learning about one of the school’s core values – Service as the measure of life – as they volunteer at several local non-profit agencies from 2-4 p.m. Friday, August 19, as part of War Hawk Welcome Week.

Student teams will be working at Meals on Wheels, Global Samaritan, Noah Project, Windcrest and both Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs locations on North 10th and on Clinton streets.  Also, teams will be working at four Abilene parks, Nelson, C.W. Gill, Rose Park and Red Bud Park.
