The McMurry University Theatre Department is presenting the Southwest premier of a new script, "Shoulders," by Jeffrey Kinghorn.  Directed by Charlie Hukill, the play will run from November 10-12 and November 17-19 in the Amy Graves Ryan Theatre. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m.

In San Francisco, 1942, the McClintocks have come through the Depression thanks to the grit of Lorraine, upon whom mother and sister depend to keep the family together. The attack on Pearl Harbor ignites fear of a Japanese landing on the beaches of California. Lorraine helps her Nisei neighbor prepare for internment and chooses between a man she loves and the responsibility she feels for her family who cannot survive in a world at war without her.

Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 for McMurry faculty, staff and students, $3 discount on all Thursday night tickets. For more information or to buy tickets, please contact the McMurry Theatre Box Office at 325-793-3889.
