McMurry University alumna Tamika Thurman Brunetti ’02 will be the first speaker in a monthly series sponsored by the Walter F. and Virginia Johnson School of Business at 11 a.m. Friday, January 27, in the Old Main Mathews Auditorium.

Brunetti is a certified Project Manager within the Program Management practice with EY (formerly branded as Ernst & Young), a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services.  She serves as the chairperson of the speaker sub-committee of the Johnson School of Business Advisory Council. Her passion is helping students pursue outstanding careers in business while serving their communities as effective citizens.

“The newly reestablished Johnson School of Business Advisory Council (BAC) has eighteen members who are very passionate about helping our McMurry business and non-business students to enter the applicable labor markets with the appropriate skillsets, passion, and knowledge to produce and keep high quality occupations in the Abilene region, or outside of the area if that is the students’ preference,” said Dr. Paul M. Mason, dean of the Johnson School of Business. “On a monthly basis, the BAC members from around the state of Texas will be volunteering their time to enlighten our students with real-world experiences and educated advice.”
