McMurry University, Parker University to Sign Early Admission Agreement

McMurry University and Parker University will sign an early admission articulation agreement at a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, in the lobby of the Finch-Gray Science Building.

Under the early admission articulation agreement, McMurry University students will be able to begin their studies in Parker's Doctor of Chiropractic program after their junior year. After the first two trimesters, they will be awarded their bachelor of science degree from McMurry, said Dr. Larry Sharp, associate professor of biology, pre-medical and pre-dental advisor and Joint Admission Medical Program faculty advisor at McMurry.

"Parker University is delighted to join in partnership with McMurry University. This agreement will facilitate the interaction of our institutions to the benefit of our students and take advantage of the excellent educational opportunities offered by both institutions," said Parker University President Dr. William Morgan.
