McMurry Athletics Launches Grant Teaff Matching Challenge

McMurry University Athletics has launched the Grant Teaff Matching Gift Challenge. Teaff, a 1956 McMurry graduate who also was head football coach at McMurry from 1960-65, will match gifts up to $150,000 to provide for improved facilities and equipment its athletic programs.

"McMurry University athletics has a rich history of success through the years, and Coach Grant Teaff built a large portion of that history as head track and football coach from 1960-1965," said McMurry Director of Athletics Sam Ferguson. "Gifts to this challenge will position McMurry athletics for success on and off the field and attract the top Division III talent in the state of Texas."

"As we look to McMurry's Centennial celebration in 2023, our strategic plan ensures that McMurry athletics continues to prosper,"said Ferguson. "A key to continuing our athletic success is McMurrs commitment to provide our scholar-athletes with the best facilities and equipment and ensure that they represent our proud athletic tradition."
