McMurry to Offer Group Exercise Classes this Spring


ABILENE, Texas – McMurry University offers open-to-the-public group exercise classes beginning January 9.

For early-risers, the Winter Body Fit program runs Monday-Thursday until March 11 from 5:15-6:15 a.m. for a cost of $100. Hour-long mid-day and evening group exercise classes run January 9-April 27 for a fee of $70. Offerings include Body Boot Camp at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday and Friday. Yoga is at noon on Tuesday and Thursday and again at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Core Training is at noon on Wednesday and Friday. Monday and Wednesday evenings include Low Impact Aerobics at 5:30 p.m. and Zumba/Zumba Toning sessions are at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays Participants may mix-and-match attendance at the mid-day and evening offerings. Drop-ins pay $5 per visit.
